CTO regime introduced at border of Kazbek and Gumbet Districts of Dagestan

In Dagestan, on Saturday, the legal regime of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) was introduced in connection with searches of suspected militants at the junction of the Gumbet and Kazbek Districts, said the Operative Headquarters of the Russia's National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) in Dagestan.

The CTO regime on the administrative border of the two districts in the vicinity of Mount Tsana was introduced at 6:00 p.m. Moscow time.

"Operative actions are underway to identify gang members and their associates," the RIA "Novosti" quotes a source from the Operative Headquarters.
