Two persons perished and at least 73 suffered from nature rampancy in Southern Russia

In the Yeisk District of the Krasnodar Territory, the storm killed a man; and in the Vesioly District of the Rostov Region, a woman died from the injuries caused by fall of a tree on the car. In total, according to the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE), 73 people sought medical care after the nature attack; the figure of the Ministry of Public Health is about 100.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 24 Southern Russia was struck by a hurricane – strong wind and rain. In the Rostov Region, 26 dwelling settlements occurred in inundation zone; and by the morning on September 25, 971 people were evacuated in the district. In the Krasnodar Territory, the bad weather affected six districts and three towns; and residents of two villages of the Yeisk District were evacuated.

As of today, two casualties have been reported. In the morning on Friday, the settlement of Vesioly, located on the toad, connecting Vesioly with the Azhinov Farm of the Vesioly District of the Rostov Region, a tree fell down on a passenger car – the woman-passenger died from received injuries in hospital, the "161.ru" writes with reference to the regional GIBDD (traffic police).

On September 24, the village of Kamyshevatskaya of the Yeisk District of the Krasnodar Territory, a 47-year-old man drowned during the storm. "According to preliminary data, because of a sudden high tide, he was covered by a wave and swept out into the sea," the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" quotes Natalia Smyatskaya, the assistant to the head of the Investigating Department for the Krasnodar Territory of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), as saying.
