Policeman wounded in Makhachkala police is in satisfactory condition

The policeman, who was wounded in his leg in an armed clash with a suspected militant Alil Gadjiramazanov in Makhachkala, feels satisfactorily. The casualty was involved in the armed underground, the resources supporting North-Caucasian militants have confirmed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 25 in Makhachkala employees of the PPS (patrol-and-post service) stopped a man to check documents, who threw a grenade at them and wounded a policeman, said the Russia's National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC) and the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). The man was shot dead by response fire and pre-identified as Alil Gadjiramazanov, according to the NAC, a member of the "Gunib" militant grouping.

To the demand of PPS employees to show his documents, Gadjiramazanov pulled a grenade out of his jacket pocket and tried to pull out the safety pin, reports the website of the Investigating Department (ID) for Dagestan of Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

Let us remind you that according to the NAC Gadjiramazanov was a member of the "Gunib" militant grouping and took part in the attack on May 15 on policemen in the outskirts of the village of Sogratl, when three policemen were killed and 10 others wounded.

A criminal case was opened on the policeman's injury.
