Missing Shamkhal villager identified among suspected militants killed in special operation in Kizilyurt District

Magomedarip Magomedov, a resident of Dagestan, whose relatives reported his possible kidnapping, was identified among the persons killed in a combat action that occurred at night of August 26 in the Kizilyurt District, a local resident reports. So far, there is still no official information on the identification.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 23, the wife of Magomedarip Magomedov, a resident of the village of Shamkhal, filed a complaint about his disappearance. According to the woman, her husband disappeared on August 22. Meanwhile, she has voice her fear that he could be kidnapped. According to the woman, her husband had no criminal records and had no problems with the police.

On August 26, in the Kizilyurt District, in a wooded area near the village of Matseevka, two suspected militants were killed in a shootout, stated a source from the law enforcement bodies.

The "Caucasian Knot" has been told by one of the Shamkhal villagers that Magomedarip Magomedov was identified among the suspected militants killed in the Kizilyurt District. "As far as I know, his relatives have already been informed about that; however, his body has not yet been given out for the burial," the Shamkhal villager has said.

According to him, residents of the Shamkhal village, who knew Magomedarip Magomedov, do not believe that he could be involved in a shootout with law enforcers. "He was kidnapped and killed, and all the other versions are nonsense," he has said.
