Combatants from Chechnya, who are fighting on the side of the self-proclaimed Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics, have asked leaders of the antiterrorist operation (ATO) in Ukraine to provide them with the possibility to leave the combat zone, the ATO press centre reports. Meanwhile, residents of Chechnya have once again reported on delivery of bodies of Chechen natives, who took part in combat actions in Donbas.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 27, Andrei Lysenko, the Speaker of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC), announced that two battalions with fighters from Chechnya arrived in Rostov-on-Don. On August 1, Andrei Lysenko reported that Chechnya sent towards Ukraine an echelon of "Kadyrov's men", the website of the information-analytical centre of the NSDC. The administration of the leader and the government of Chechen refuted the information.

During the recent week, several bodies of the fighters killed in the combat actions were brought to Chechnya from Ukraine, local residents report. According to them, relatives of the killed fighters have to give receipts for non-disclosure of the circumstances of their death. Besides, the local residents have added that during the recent weeks, several units of Chechen law enforcers were brought to the Rostov Region to the border with Ukraine.

In their turn, local law enforcers state that all divisions of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) are in places of their permanent deployment.

Earlier, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov confirmed the presence of Chechen natives in the combat zone in Ukraine; however, he denied their organized participation in the conflict.
