"EcoWatch": convicted Krasnodar ecologist Evgeny Vitishko placed into dungeon

The Krasnodar ecologist Evgeny Vitishko, who is serving his sentence in a colony-settlement in the Tambov Region, was placed into the punishment cell (dungeon), said the press service of the "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus" (EcoWatch).

According to rights defenders, during his stay in the colony, Vitishko received several reprimands and sent at least three complaints about violations of his rights to the prosecutor's office.

The "EcoWatch" has added, referring to one of the colony inmates, that Vitishko was placed into the dungeon on the decision of the colony administration.

Earlier, the ecologist expected that he "could be placed into the dungeon because of persistent unjustified claims moved against him by colony authorities."
