Regular soldier from Kirov Region found dead in Dagestan

Alexei Aleturovich, a regular soldier, recruited from the Kirov Region, was found dead in a military unit in Buynaksk, the military prosecutor's office of the city has reported today.

The 19-year-old Aleturovich was called up from the city of Kirov-Chepetsk, Kirov Region of Russia, in May 2014 and was taking his service in the motorized rifle brigade stationed in Buynaksk.

His body was found on July 23 in the vicinity of the Buynaksk military training range, said a source from the above prosecutor's office. According to his story, Aleturovich died from a gunshot wound to his head; however, it is too early to state whether he had committed suicide or was killed, the "Interfax" reports.

According to the soldier's family members, he died on July 20. His relatives believe that Alexei could become a victim to the hazing in the army unit, the "Gorod Ch." reports.
