Azerbaijani MIA confirms death of local in Karabakh conflict zone

As reported today by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Mubariz Aliev, a resident of the Tartar District of Azerbaijan, was killed by gunfire from the Armenian side near the village of Ashagy Chaily located on the troops contact line.

According to the MIA, the casualty was a resident of the village of Sakhlaabad.

"On July 19, a villager of Sakhlaabad from the Tartar District was killed when fishing on the TartarRiver in the territory of the village of Ashagy Chaily by the gunfire delivered from the Armenian side," the MIA has reported, adding that the body of Mubariz Aliev was handed over to his family.

Let us note here that the Ministries of Defence (MoDs) of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh are regularly accusing each other of breaking the ceasefire. The Armenian party also reports about deaths of locals as a result of such incidents. Thus, on July 15, the General Prosecutor's Office of Nagorno-Karabakh reported the death on July 14 of a local resident Arvid Danielyan from the Azerbaijani gunfire in the Askeran District of Nagorno-Karabakh.
