A minor was abused and then disappeared in Dagestan

As reported by a source from the Investigating Department (ID) for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), the minor girl from the Rutul District of Dagestan, who was supposedly raped by 12 persons, cannot be found. According to the source, nobody has been detained so far; a pre-inquiry check is underway.

Earlier, a source from the Rutul ROVD (District Interior Division) reported that ten persons had been detained on suspicion of a group raping a 14-year-old girl that took place on July 13; while the whereabouts of two more suspects were being established.

However, the above ID said that the case is checked, but nobody was detained or arrested so far. A criminal case has not been opened – it will be decided after the end of the pre-inquiry check.

Meanwhile, the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that within the period from July 4 to July 14 the republic's police departments received six applications on committed rapes.
