OMON fighter wounded in Dagestan is in grave condition

The employee of the OMON (riot police), who was wounded during the special operation in the Gunib District of Dagestan, has undergone a surgery; his condition is grave, says the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The OMON fighter was wounded in the special operation conducted in a forest in the Gunib District. According to preliminary data of law enforcers, a member of the armed underground was killed in the operation.

"During operative-search actions within the counterterrorist operation (CTO), conducted between the villages of Sogratl and Shulani, at about 5 p.m., an armed skirmish burst out with members of illegal armed formations (IAFs). One militant was killed; and an OMON agents was wounded," the "Interfax" quotes its source from the press service of the local MIA.
