Residents of Chechnya: dozens of bodies of locals killed in battles in Ukraine brought home

Residents of Chechnya assert that during the last 24 hours bodies of several dozens of locals who took part in fights in Ukraine and perished in the Donetsk Region, where brought home, citing the number from 35 to 40-45.

The casualties fought on the side of the Donetsk people's militia, locals report.

"I have a relative working for power structures; he said that yesterday several dozens of bodies of our guys who were killed there were brought to Chechnya from Ukraine," a resident of Chechnya told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent today.

According to a former MP of the self-proclaimed Chechen Republic of Ichkeria of the time of Johar Dudaev, today, the so-called "Kadyrovtsy" (Kadyrov's guys) are at war in Ukraine.

"Mercenaries, who were promised good money, and those, who are sort of sent there by service, go to fight there," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on condition of anonymity.

In their turn, law enforcement bodies of Chechnya assert that all their employees "are in places of their permanent deployment and do not perform any missions outside the region."
