Killed underground members were involved in several crimes, says source from KBR's headquarters
The members of an illegal armed formation (IAF) killed during a special operation in the village of Dygulybgey were involved in the killings in 2013 of civilians and law enforcers, said the spokesman of the operational headquarters of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 18 the village of Dygulybgey, Baksan District of the KBR, was put under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime. According to the source from the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), two militants and an IAF leader were killed in the special operation.
According to the above headquarters, the IAF members were preparing terror acts, and committed a series of attacks on state officials and power agents.
Plenty of ammunition and explosive devices were found in the course of inspecting the scene of the incident.
