Tenants of emergency house in Vesyoloe (Sochi) state that bureaucrats ignore resettlement decision
In Sochi, city officials fail to enforce their own decision of 2011 on demolition of the emergency house, situated in the settlement of Vesyoloe, Adler District, and on resettlement of its tenants.
In total, the above house is inhabited by eight families, 35 people, who live in eight apartments. They claim that they have no sewage, heating, water and gas supplies, while officials disregard all their problems. According to their story, the house in question even has no number.
The lawyer Vitaly Shipulin is running several civil suits against the city administration, which refuses to resettle tenants from emergency house and makes other violations.
"There are court rulings on providing people with housing, but they are not enforced by bureaucrats; and people have to live in the houses under threat of collapse. Court marshals are idling, although court decisions are binding for all," the lawyer told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
