In Azerbaijan, two soldiers wounded during exercises

Two soldiers of the Azerbaijani Army were wounded during exercises; the state of their health is satisfactory, said the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD).

According to the MoD, the incident occurred at the training centre, located in the pre-front part of Azerbaijan, on May 2, at about 7:00 p.m.

The servicemen Arshad Akhlimanly and Gasan Aliev were slightly wounded; they were immediately given medical treatment, the APA writes with reference to the press service of the MoD of Azerbaijan.

The exercises in the above area began on May 1; they involve up to 4000 soldiers. During the practical part of the military exercises, servicemen practised shootings using armoured vehicles, missile launchers and mortars, the "1news.az" reports quoting the press service of the MoD.

Let us note here that the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone strained. In particular, on May 2, Azerbaijan again accused Armenia of shelling its territory. In its turn, the Nagorno-Karabakh Army claims that it observes the ceasefire; and all aggression comes from the Azerbaijani party.
