Circassian Youth Forum invites European and US Diasporas to cooperation

Circassian young people from Russia and abroad have encouraged their peers – youth organizations of Circassian Diasporas in Europe and United States – to develop constructive relations with Russia and Abkhazia, says the appeal of the Circassian Youth Forum; its participants add that they want to hold the event on a regular basis.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Forum opened in Nalchik on April 21; then, its delegates visited the Krasnodar Territory, the Olympic facilities in Sochi; and on April 23, they came to Abkhazia.

The Forum decided to expand the practice of attracting Circassian young people to study in Russian and Abkhazian higher schools. At the same time, they should avoid involvement of Russian and foreign Circassian young people in the actions that could lead to destabilization of the situation in the Caucasus.

The Forum was supported by the Russian Government, particularly, by the Ministry of Regional Development, said Murat Gukepshokov, the Executive Director of the Association of Foreign Graduates of the Kabardino-Balkarian University.
