Chechen rebels shell Russian military base

4 Russian soldiers were injured as a result of bombardment in Chechnya on April 19. "The camp of the defense ministry's battalion situated on the outskirts of the village of Khidi-Khutor, Chechnya's Kurchaloy district, was shelled by unknown people from mortars from a forest track which is a few kilometers far from the village," a source at the republican military commandant's office said to the Caucasian Knot correspondent. A search for the rebels who attacked the camp is under way.
