Mutsolgov finds rumours about prepared attempt on him untrue; SC asks prosecutors to find out

Law enforcers of Ingushetia will be informed about the messages that appeared in the "LiveJournal" about the impending attempt on human rights activist Magomed Mutsolgov, said Albert Barakhoev, the Acting Secretary of the Security Council (SC) of the Republic of Ingushetia. Mutsolgov himself has no intention to address the Prosecutor's Office, but treats the information unreliable, but serious.

A message about the planned attempt on Mutsolgov was posted on April 9 in the "Independent News Blog of the Republic of Ingushetia" in the "LiveJournal". According to the author, the order to kill Mutsolgov was issued to some special groups from federal law enforcement bodies, which allegedly came to Ingushetia.

According to Magomed Mutsolgov, the head of the human rights organization "Mashr", the information about his impending murder appeared not for the first time.

He recalled the killings of well-known Russian journalists and public figures, who defended the rights of residents of Northern Caucasus.

According to Albert Barakhoev, the authors of the message got probably some personal benefit from "scaring Mutsolgov" for "some of their purposes."
