Sochi Mayoralty challenges court ruling on providing housing to needy family
The Sochi City Administration (Mayoralty) has refused to enforce court ruling to provide housing to Desdemona Djamburiya outside the waiting list. The enforcement has been suspended, since the Mayoralty has applied to the Krasnodar Territorial Court.
Since 2006, Desdemona Djamburiya, cannot get an apartment from the Mayoralty instead of her burnt-down house. Now, high-rise apartment blocks are in the place, where her house was, but there is no apartment for her large family.
Let us remind you that on December 24, 2013, the Sochi City Court obliged the Mayoralty to provide an apartment to Ms Djamburiya in satisfaction of the lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor of the Tsentralny District of Sochi in favour of the large family.
The Sochi City Prosecutor's Office, where Desdemona Djamburiya has turned up for help, believes that the court decision, which came into force, must be enforced. "Djamburiya's case is under control; and an Office official will be sent to the Territorial Court to defend the interests of the family in need of housing," Andrei Kukin, Deputy City Prosecutor, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
