Court in Tskhinvali rules in favour of Mayoralty in housing capture case
On March 31, the Tskhinvali City Court satisfied the lawsuit of the Mayoralty and found the residence of the Djioev family in an apartment of the house in Pushkin Street illegal.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 16, 2013, residents of Tskhinvali in need of better housing conditions arbitrarily moved into a new apartment block.
A lawsuit against two of the families was initiated later by the Tskhinvali Mayoralty.
The respondent Mikhail Djioev told the court that he and his brother and mother was ready to leave the occupied apartment, if the housing where he lived earlier, which was destroyed during the hostilities in August 2008 were restored.
However, as Mikhail told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, the court had found his residence in the new house illegal.
The Court is also preparing to consider a similar case about the capture of the apartment in Pushkin Street by Alexei Lipin.
