In Armenia, participants of "Million Mask March" see new charges
According to Inessa Petrosyan, an advocate of Shant Arutyunyan, the leader of the "Tsegakron" Party, her client and 13 other participants of the "Million Mask March", detained on November 5, 2013, saw a change of the charge – from rendering resistance to authorities into hooliganism.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the "Million Mask March" was held in Yerevan on November 5, 2013. After protesters entered into a confrontation with the police, the organizer Shant Arutyunyan and 19 participants were detained; later, 14 of them were indicted.
The lawyer said that "the new charge is completely inconsistent with Arutyunyan's actions," adding that she would detail her idea later.
Let us remind you that on February 28 Shant Arutyunyan, who had got to the clinic because of health problems, was returned to the correction facility named "Vardashen".
