Kabardino-Balkaria: forensic experts fix Andzor Akhokhov's bodily injuries
Forensic experts have revealed bodily injuries, qualified as moderate, in Andzor Akhokhov, the organizer of the dispersed February protest held in Nalchik against the Sochi Olympics. According to forensic experts, the harm could have been caused to Akhokhov on February 7-8.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 11 Akhokhov addressed the Investigating Committee with a statement saying that on February 7, after being detained along with other protesters against Sochi Olympics, he was subjected to torture and pressure from law enforcers.
The conclusion of the Kabardino-Balkarian Office of Forensic Examination was issued to Akhokhov by the investigator on March 27. The document quotes the opinion of the doctors of the Republic's Clinical Hospital, where Akhokhov was taken by an ambulance from the special detention facility of the Nalchik UVD (Interior Department) on February 11 and 13. The Hospital neurosurgeons diagnosed a craniocerebral trauma, concussion and brain hurt in Akhokhov.
