Chairman of Georgian Central Election Commission to become Tbilisi mayor

Chairman of the Georgian Central Election Commission Zurab Chiaberashvili has made a request to commission members today to release him from his duties. The commission is discussing the question of relieving Chiaberashvili from his post at a special meeting. As it has become known, Mr Chiaberashvili was offered the post of Tbilisi Mayor.
