Hideout with ammunition found in KBR

Policemen found it near the village of Bylym in the Elbrus District of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

According to preliminary information, the hideout belonged to a local resident who was killed in a special operation in Bylym in December 2013.

The ammunition was in plastic barrels buried into the ground. "We found over 3000 machinegun rounds, a radio station with batteries, two chargers and materials for making explosion devices," said the local Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

All the items were sent to the MIA's Forensic Centre for examination.
