    Arrest of Asker Sokht appealed against, his advocate says

    As reported by Inver Tlij, a lawyer of the Bar of the Republic of Adygea, a complaint has been lodged on the decision of the Lenin District Court of Krasnodar to attract Asker Sokht, the chairman of the Krasnodar organization "Adyge-Khase", to administrative responsibility and his detention.

    Let us remind you that on February 15 the above court ruled to arrest Asker Sokht for eight days on charges of disobeying a lawful demand of a representative of power.

    According to Inver Tlij, in his complaint he asks the higher instance to stop the proceedings against Asker Sokht. "We believe that there was mo administrative offense in Asker Sokht's actions – he didn’t resist the police and didn't refuse to undergo a medical examination," the lawyer has concluded.
