Seven persons killed during special operation in Dagestan

According to the preliminary information, four suspected militants and three law enforcers were killed in a special operation carried out in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan. This was reported by a source from law enforcement bodies of the republic.

People who last night raised suspicions of the law enforcers in the Khasavyurt District were blocked in one of the private houses in the village of Karlanyurt. The special operation was started there.

One of the wounded law enforcers is in severe condition, the ITAR-TASS reports.

At present, combat engineers examine the house where suspected members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) were hiding.
