Kaloi Akhilgov: authorities urge Ingushes not to go to Krasnodar Territory on the eve of Olympics

The Security Council of Ingushetia does not recommend Ingush residents to travel to the Krasnodar Territory without prior notice. This was announced by Kaloi Akhilgov, the former Press Secretary of the Ingush President.

"To travel to the Krasnodar Territory during the period of the Olympic Games, any Ingush resident should apply to the Security Council of Ingushetia with the appropriate notice," this was written on January 7 by Kaloi Akhilgov, the former Press Secretary of the Ingush President, on his page on the social network "Facebook".

He referred to the information obtained from a staff member of the Security Council.

Relevant information was disseminated by the national TV and Radio Company "Ingushetia". This was confirmed by Khalid Tankiev, Director of the company.

Magomed Mutsolgov, the leader of the human rights organization "Mashr", treats the situation as a "flagrant violation of the Constitution of the Russian Federation."

"We treat this as discrimination based on nationality grounds and nothing else," Magomed Mutsolgov commented on the situation in his blog on the "Caucasian Knot".
