Zaur Gasanov, who committed self-immolation attempt on December 25, dies in Azerbaijan

Today at about 10:00 p.m., in a Baku hospital, Zaur Gasanov, an invalid and a Karabakh War veteran, who attempted self-immolation on December 25, has died.

His death was reported to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Ray Kerimoglu, the press secretary of the public association "Karabakh Veterans".

Dadash Gumbatov from the local Ministry of Public Health has confirmed the death of the war invalid. According to his story, in the evening his condition has rapidly deteriorated; and doctors failed to save him.
