North Ossetian authorities stand for examination of deposits at "RDB", which insurance reimbursement was rejected

The Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) and the external department of the North Ossetian "Regional Development Bank" should have conducted an examination for each individual deposit, on which no insurance compensation has still been paid. This was stated by Azamat Khadikov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of North Ossetia.

According to him, 90% of depositors of the "Regional Development Bank" have already received insurance compensation due to them. However, in the period of October 28-December 11, no insurance compensation has been paid to 600 bank clients, since the DIA recognized the operations on those deposits as suspicious.

"The government of the republic and local authorities believe that the leaders of the DIA, including Yuri Isaev, General Director of the State Corporation, were misled by their employees. At present, the number of complaints filed by clients of the "Regional Development Bank" is increasing. People sent their complaints to the President of Russia, the Presidential Envoy to the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), the leaders of the republic, and they have the right to claim their money back," Azamat Khadikov has noted at the press-conference held on December 11.

Let us remind you that the State Corporation "Deposit Insurance Agency" (DIA) has rejected the formal appeal the North-Ossetian Parliament, which demanded to meet the interests of the clients of the "Regional Development Bank", whose deposits were divided into parts to obtain insurance compensation.
