Grozny residents report disappearance of young woman
Residents of the city of Grozny have reported a disappearance of a young woman in the Staropromyslovsky District. The police claim that they are doing everything necessary in such situations.
On November 23, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told about the disappearance of a 20-year-old resident of Grozny by her relatives and neighbours.
"She was married; and a few weeks ago she returned to her parents' house. I don't know the reason for her divorce; but now she's missing," said a resident of Grozny, who asked not to be named.
According to a local resident named Khava, initially there were assumptions that the girl could go back to her ex-husband, or that she was abducted for marriage. "But in such cases, relatives are immediately notified; but they were not," said the woman.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" wrote about disappearances of young women in Chechnya.
Thus, on July 6, a 20-year-old local resident Khadizhat Elimkhanova also disappeared in the Staropromyslovsky District of Grozny. On December 11, 2012, a 23-year-old Aina Khabibulaeva, a post-graduate student of the Institute of State and Law of the Chechen State University, disappeared in Grozny under mysterious circumstances. In May 2012, the Aidamirova sisters disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Until now, the fate of all the women remains unknown.
