Internet users talk about possible national motive of killing Dagestani woman in Moscow

The Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has announced a start of inquiry into the murder in Moscow of two women, one of whom is a citizen of Kazakhstan. The other casualty, who, according to a source from law enforcement bodies, had her arms and legs cut off and a wound on the stomach in the form of a cross, was a native of Dagestan. Internet users see nationalistic motive in her murder.

The bodies of the women were found in different parts of the South-Western District of Moscow on November 23.

In social networks, Internet users express the opinion that nationality-based hostility could be the motive of the murder. In particular, this opinion is supported by a member of the community "Journalists of Dagestan" on the Facebook, who writes under the nickname "MonSignor", and Ekaterina Sokiryanskaya, a human rights activist and an employee of the International Crisis Group, who has noted: "Again, we have a brutal murder motivated by ethnic hatred in Moscow. I'm scared to live in this country."

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" wrote about the murder of three natives of Northern Caucasus in Moscow. Bodies of the young men were found on August 9 in a residential house in Avtozavodskaya Street. Thereafter, on August 15 and 21 inGrozny, their relatives held pickets demanding from investigators an impartial inquiry into the crime.
