Yunus-Bek Evkurov promises to solve problems of refugees and victims of landslide zones in Ingushetia till end of 2015

Ingushetia has opened the international conference of Ombudsmen dedicated to the protection of human rights. The leader of the republic promised to resolve till the end of 2015 all the problems associated with housing accommodation of refugees and residents of landslide zone. The authorities did not give the refugees any chances to meet participants of the conference. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by residents of temporary accommodation centres (TACs).

On October 10, the International scientific and practical conference "Institution of Ombudsman in interaction between state and civil society" was opened in Magas.

The leader of Ingushetia has reported that the republic is already constructing apartment buildings for refugees from Chechnya for total amount of 700 million roubles. At the same time, according to the Yunus-Bek Evkurov's estimation, to resolve in full the housing problems of internally displaced persons (IDPs), the republic is to allocate about 4 billion roubles. Yunus-Bek Evkurov has added that by the end of 2014, "the problems to accommodate residents of the landslide zone of Malgobek and the Malgobek District will be resolved."

Officials did not allow a group of IDPs from the Prigorodny District of North Ossetia and refugees from the Chechen Republic to meet the participants of the conference of human rights defenders. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Lydia Etazheva, a mother of many children and a resident of the TAC "Promzhilbaza".

IDPs from the village of Yandare who were strictly recommended to leave the barrack occupied by them came to Magas with the same purpose to meet the participants of the conference of human rights defenders. This was reported by Maret Gabrailova, a resident of the village of Yandare.
