Dagestan runs youth educational forum "Caspian Sea-2013"

About 500 people from Russian regions and CIS countries are taking part in the international youth educational forum "Caspian Sea-2013", which takes place near the village of Manas in Dagestan on September 25-29.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the information-analytical centre of the Committee for Youth Policy of Dagestan, the forum is held in a completely new format: as a business game on the socio-economic and socio-political development of the municipal territories.

According to Saad Kaziev, the director of the forum, the game will define "most efficient municipality", whose residents will be awarded by the organizing committee of the forum.

"We all know that Dagestan has excess of labour force, including among young people. Our goal is to help them in choosing a right profession," said Zaur Kurbanov, the Chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs of Dagestan.

During the forum, its participants will hear VIP-lectures and be able to attend educational, artistic and sporting platforms.

"We expect that after the forum young people will acquire new skills of developing municipal territories. We believe that a new generation of municipal managers will grow out of the forum participants able to make positive changes in the region," said Kurbanov.
