On September 2, Yaroslavl Court to decide on extradition to Azerbaijan of Ibragim Musaev, staff member of NAR's MNS

On September 2, the Yaroslavl Regional Court will make the decision on extradition to Azerbaijan of Ibragim Musaev, a staff member of the Ministry of National Security (MNS) of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR). Ibragim Musaev, who states that the Nakhichevan's authorities are engaged in supplying arms to Kurdish terrorists in Turkey, is accused of fraud committed in Azerbaijan.

According to the Ibragim Musaev's story, till December 2012, he and his family members lived in Yaroslavl, and then he realized that he and his family member were followed by unknown people. In Moscow, he has appealed to the organization "Civil Assistance" to obtain a refugee status.

He is confident that he will not get required support in Russia. So, he wants to leave for a third country where he will be provided safety and where he will not be extradited to Azerbaijan.

Ibragim Musaev notes that in Russia, he spent six months in SIZO (pre-trial prison) as a person put on the international wanted list for fraud.

Ibragim Musaev has stated that Turadj Zeinalov, who was detained on August 24, 2011, was the first person who got the documents, proving supply of arms from the territory of Nakhchivan to the territory of Turkey for the Kurdish PKK terrorist organization.

According to the Ibragim Musaev's story, officials from the Ministry ordered him to explode the reputation of the Turadj Zeinalov's wife, and he fulfilled the order by starting a love affair with her. After that, the woman was forced by blackmail to say on video camera that her husband suffered from cancer and died from it. However, later, the woman told Vali Asgerov, Minister of National Security, that, since an official from the Ministry exploded her reputation, she would tell journalists the truth. Then, Ibragim Musaev was ordered to kill the wife of Turadj Zeinalov, and he refused to fulfil the order.
