At debates on case of attack on Nalchik, prosecutors claim defendants want to escape responsibility

On August 27, during the debates in the case of the attack on Nalchik, prosecutors recalled the episode of the attack on the shop "Okhotnik Plus" and urged the court to take into account the testimonies given by the defendants during the preliminary investigation.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the debates on the case of the attack on Nalchik were started on August 19.

On August 27, at the trial on the case of the attack on Nalchik, the prosecutors recalled the events related to the attack on the shop "Okhotnik Plus" and to the capture of a bus to block highway in the Nalchik residential district "Strelka".

According to the investigators' version, prior to the attack, the defendants have gathered in a rented apartment in Nalchik. They faced the task to attack the gun shop "Okhotnik Plus", to seize all weapons in the shop and then block the entrance to the city from the direction of Pyatigorsk.

In the course of the attack on the shop "Okhotnik Plus", Igor Mostovoy, the director of the shop, and Daniyal Nogerov, the owner of the nearby auto parts store, were killed.

During the capture of the bus, its driver Chukhraenko was killed. In the residential district "Strelka", two policemen Shomakhov and Dyshekov were killed. Besides, several persons, including a seriously wounded woman, a staff member of the Baksan administration, were wounded.

Witnesses claimed that on October 13, the Kuchmenov brothers were at home. However, the prosecutors treated their testimonies as a desire to help them escape responsibility and urged the court to take them critically.
