In Sochi, trial of Secretary of Regional "Communists of Russia" to continue on August 21

Today, Mikhail Abramyan, Secretary of the Krasnodar Regional Branch of the Party "Communists of Russia", was discharged from Hospital No. 2 of Krasnodar. The court session on his case will take place on August 21.

Let us remind you that on August 13 Mikhail Abramyan was hospitalized with hypertensive crisis in the above hospital. Lyudmila Alexandrova, his advocate, stated that hospitalization had to do with his "criminal prosecution for a crime he never committed."

"On August 16, I was discharged from the cardiology department of the city hospital of Krasnodar with diagnosis of hypertension and recommendations of self-treatment. I feel very bad. I was in fact rejected medical care, since my attending physician, who hastily discharged me before midday, told me that she had been ordered to discharge me because of a request from competent authorities," Mikhail Abramyan told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. In his opinion, the hospital doctors were pressed on.

He further stressed that a sick person cannot properly defend himself in court.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 14 the court found Mikhail Abramyan guilty of assaulting, out of ruffian intent, Vladimir Demyanenko, the ataman of the Lazarevskoe rural Cossack community, and sentenced him to a year in a settlement-colony. The defence appealed against the verdict.
