In Krasnodar Territory, ICRF verifies information that child was raped in children's camp

The Investigating Department of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) for the Krasnodar Territory verifies the information on the fact of a crime committed against a minor girl in one of the children's camps of Anapa. According to the information to be verified, a group of minors used violence against a 9-year-old girl, the ICRF reports.

The girl's mother filed an appropriate complaint to the police, the website of the ICRF reports.

"We still cannot say what specific physical injuries the child got. It will be revealed from the results of the investigation," the "Interfax" quotes a representative of the press service of the Investigating Department of the ICRF for the Krasnodar Territory as saying.

Earlier, with reference to the story of a friend of the victim's parents, the media reported that the incident occurred in the children's camp "Prometei" (Prometheus). According to the source's story, in the evening of August 7, 12 boys and girls aged from 10 to 12 years old raped the 9-year-old girl with different things. On the same evening, the administration of the children's camp called the parents of the injured child. "They tried to convince the girl's parents to hush the incident. The girl was taken away and brought to the medical examination, and the fact of rape was recorded there," the RIA "Novy Region" (New Region) quotes the women as saying.
