In Dagestan, two natives of Uzbekistan disappear, HRC "Memorial" reports

In Dagestan, Alisher Fazilov and his brother Zhasurbek Fazilov, natives of Uzbekistan, disappeared. This was reported by Zhamilat Nazhmudinova, the wife of Alisher Fazilov, a resident of the Kizlyar District of Dagestan. On July 22, she filed a complaint about the disappearance of her husband and his brother to the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial".

Alisher and Zhasurbek Fazilov disappeared on July 13; however, till present, there is no information on their whereabouts.

"Zhamilat told us that in the morning of July 13, her husband and his brother went to Leninkent, a suburban town of Makhachkala. According to the Zhamilat's story, her husband did not respond to calls to his mobile phone since 10:30 a.m. In the evening, their younger brother went to look for Alisher and Zhasurbek; however, he found only their car. He said that the car was parked on a roadside, the keys were in the car, but no documents were in the car. On July 14, relatives filed a complaint about the disappearance to the Kirov ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Elena Denisenko, the representative of the HRC "Memorial" in Dagestan.

Till present, the "Caucasian Knot" has no comments of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the Federal Migration Service (FMS) and the Prosecutor's Office on the complaint filed by Zhamilat Nazhmudinova about the disappearance of her husband and his brother.
