In Krasnodar Territory, 108 persons suffer in accident with passenger train, Ministry of Public Health reports

According to the clarified information, 108 persons, including eight children, suffered as a result of the accident with the passenger train "Novosibirsk-Adler" that derailed. This was reported by the Ministry of Public Health of the Krasnodar Territory. Health professional from the Krylovskaya Central District Hospital has assessed the condition of the victims as moderate. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a representative of the Ministry of Public Health.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 7, at 04:45 p.m., wagons of the train No. 140 "Novosibirsk-Adler" derailed on the interval Kislyakovka-Krylovskaya in the KrasnodarTerritory. In total, according to the information of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), more than 618 persons were travelling by the train.

The special train with the passengers from the train "Novosibirsk-Adler" has arrived at the destination at 10:05 a.m. Moscow time. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a representative of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) for the KrasnodarTerritory. According to the Russian MfE's information, at 3:05 p.m., the traffic of trains in the KrasnodarTerritory was resumed.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been told by Evgeny Boevets, Chief of Corporate Communication Services of the North-Caucasian railway, at present, the issue of compensation to the passengers is under consideration.
