In Dagestan, advocates of Sirazhudin Guchuchaliev claim their client being tortured and report on preparation of his murder

Advocates of Sirazhudin Guchuchaliev charged of killing Magomed Magomedov, Judge of the Supreme Court of Dagestan claim that their client is being subjected to torture and that he could be killed in SIZO (pre-trial prison). The complaints were filed to the supervisory authorities, investigating authorities, to institutions of the FSIN (Federal Penitentiary Service), and human rights activists.

Let us remind you that Sirazhudin Guchuchaliev was detained on May 31 in the village of Leninkent near Makhachkala, and during a special operation, Sirazhudin Guchuchaliev got wounds to his lower extremities and his left hand and "he lost consciousness because of traumatic shock and massive blood loss". On the other day, a source in the law enforcement bodies said that the detainee testified about the involvement of Said Amirov, Mayor of Makhachkala, to criminal activity.

Meanwhile, Konstantin Mudunov and Magomed Labazandibirov, his advocates, argue that Sirazhudin Guchuchaliev did not give such a testimony.

"We have the impression that law enforcers want to force Sirazhudin Guchuchaliev to give false testimony against Said Amirov, to combine two criminal cases. And then, the murder will be committed at the SIZO, and the media will publish comments that Sirazhudin Guchuchaliev had been killed by Said Amirov's order," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Konstantin Mudunov.

According his story, Sirazhudin Guchuchaliev is in urgent need of medical care; however, he is refused to be transferred to the hospital.

In his turn, Amirkhan Gasanov, the representative of the Dagestani FSIN, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that Sirazhudin Guchuchaliev, the person under investigation, had no problem. He has also stated that no one prevents the advocates from visiting their client.
