Policeman suspected of triple murder arrested in Dagestan

The district police inspector suspected of killing three persons at a cafe in Makhachkala was arrested for two months. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a representative of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) for Dagestan.

According to the version of investigators, the gunman and his victims had a conflict earlier.

A source of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent in the law enforcement bodies of the city said that one of the victims was a relative of the policeman he was the brother of his former wife.

On the fact of the incident, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Russia promised to dismiss chiefs of the policeman, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Dagestan and his deputy were reprimanded. The policeman himself has been already dismissed.

"On Wednesday, the court session was held, and a pre-trial restriction measure in the form of two months of arrest was pronounced to the policeman. The investigation is underway," said the representative of the ICRF.
