DPS inspector killed by shelling in Nalchik

In the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, in an attack on the crew of the road-and-post service (DPS), a policeman was lost; another one was hospitalized with wounds.

The DPS crew was shelled at 10:00 p.m. in Nalchik in the intersection of Keshokov and Kirov Streets. A search for the attackers is underway.

A criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident under Articles 222 (illegal circulation of weapons) and 317 (attempt on the life of a law enforcer) of the Russian Criminal Code.
