Identity of supposed participants of armed underground killed in Kabardino-Balkaria established

Today an armed group of three men was blocked in one of the houses of Chegem. Later they were killed. They were part of a so-called “South-Western sector” of gunmen, representatives of power ministries state. There was also a woman and under-age children in the house who left the building before the beginning of the storm.

According to representatives of law enforcement bodies, the gunmen were suggested to lay down arms and surrender to the authorities, however they refused and opened heavy fire at the soldiers of riot squad.

“Head of control headquarters in KBR took a decision to begin a storm. The members of the gang were killed as a result”, representatives of law enforcement bodies report.

Law enforcement bodies of KBR established identity of the citizens killed in the town of Chegem today. They were Hassan Kansaev born in 1990, Alim Mashezov born in 1987 and Ramzan Tolov born in 1988, all of them had wanted notices.

According to the data of control headquarters, the group was involved in many murders of policemen, murder of Head of Administration of Chegem district Mikhail Mambetov, murder of private entrepreneur Gegaev and a series of extortions.

During the special operation a supposed accomplice of the gunmen was detained.

The “Caucasian Knot” has yet no comment from representatives of the killed men or the detainee.
