Disfranchised Tuapse residents to lodge complaint to prosecutor's office

Over 100 Tuapse residents were not able to vote in the elections of the Russian president and regional governor on March 14 as their names were not put on the lists of precinct election commissions. Law-enforcement agencies are to investigate the incident now. The residents themselves believe this action to be planned in advance: they were paid back in such a way for their refusal to leave the dormitory that became property of the Kuban Technological University two years ago. 170 families have been encountering problems since that time - heating has been periodically cut off at the dormitory, main entrances have been blocked, the people's payments for public utilities have been refused. Dormitory tenants are preparing a joint complaint to lodge to the prosecutor's office and an application to file with the court.
