"Suicide belt" found on Sabina Sheikhmuradova detained in Makhachkala was planted during search, her mother asserts

The mother of Sabina Sheikhmuradova, a resident of Makhachkala, who was detained on June 11 on suspicion of manufacturing an improvised explosion device (IED), has stated that the "suicide belt" had been planted into her house during the search.

Zarema Sheikhmuradova, Sabina's mother, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that on June 11, at about 8:00 a.m., men in camouflage came to her house with a search. According to the woman, the policemen went to different rooms; and the inhabitants were not able to monitor their actions.

"When I came into one of the rooms, I saw an unidentified man in a mask, who was looking for something behind the sofa. When he saw me, he abruptly pulled his hand away; and then we all were brought out into the yard," said Zarema Sheikhmuradova.

The woman added that after that power agents with the witnesses entered the house again. According to Zarema Sheikhmuradova, behind the sofa in the place where the policemen had earlier put his hand, the found some package. "I immediately explained that this package was not ours, but they wouldn't hear anything. Policemen called a group of explosive experts. When sappers arrived, that explosive device was detonated outdoor in the yard, but no fingerprints had been taken from the package."

"The policemen detailed my daughter Sabina, who is charged with making an explosive device," said the woman.

On the same day, Zarema Sheikhmuradova filed a complaint in the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy) with a request to restore the broken, in her opinion, rights of her family.
