Three persons kidnapped in Makhachkala, relatives of one of them report

Relatives of Shamil Abdulaev, a resident of Makhachkala, report that he was kidnapped on June 6 by armed men in masks. Along with him, and Abdulaev's friend and an occasional passerby were also kidnapped, said one of his relatives.

On June 9, a message about the kidnapping was received by the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot". The author wrote that "the kidnappers were in masks and dressed in civilian clothes."

Abdulaev's relatives were informed about the incident on the following day, June 7, from eyewitnesses.

"On Friday, June 7, I was called by a friend; and she said that she had heard that my brother was killed. Then, relatives start searching him. We learned that the day before people were kidnapped in Mamedbekov Street. We were told that several shots were made at one the victims; however, we don't know at whom exactly," Malika Abdulaeva, Shamil's relative, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan that they had no information about any special operation in Mamedbekov Street, conducted on June 6, and about the kidnapped people.
