Relatives of the people detained during investigation in Kabardino-Balkaria reported violations in process of inquiry

The people detained for suspicion of complicity in the activities of paramilitary groups are under interrogation in Tyrnyaus. One of them, Ali Borchaev, was severely beaten up, Lilia Malkarova, wife on another detainee Asker Betkaraev, declared.
 
Earlier, the “Caucasian Knot” informed that on January, 16, two supposed gunmen, a man and a woman, were killed. National Anti-Terrorist Committee also reported detention of three persons who supposedly collaborated with paramilitary groups.
 
“On January, 16, my common-law husband, his friend Ali Borchaev and three more of their friends went to ski and snowboard in the vicinity of the Mt. Elbrus. They were detained at the terminal. Later two of them were released. This morning we went to the municipal Public Prosecutor’s office to submit a statement about our fears for Asker’s life. At this moment a temporary detention facility car drove up to the building of the Investigative Department and Ali Borchaev severely beaten was taken out by force”, Malkarova reported.

According to Malkarova, on January, 16 there was a search in her flat. During inspection of the bedroom an underbarrel gun was found on the windowsill. The owner of the flat states that it was planted to her.
The “Caucasian Knot” has no comment from law enforcement bodies yet.
