Astrakhan: second ignition of Porfirievs' house extinguished

On May 6, fire-fighters liquidated a fire of an outbuilding in the territory of the household of the Porfiriev family in Amurskaya Street in Astrakhan. According to Regina Porfirieva, the cause of the fire was arson.

Let us remind you that at night on April 29 the fence and a corner of their house were on fire, which was extinguished by the arriving fire-fighters. Regina Porfirieva wrote a statement to the police to open a criminal case on arson. After the fire, the family members installed a few cameras and video recorders in the yard. They recorded on May 6 two persons, who, in the opinion of the Porfirievs could put the house on fire.

According to the press service of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) for the Astrakhan Region, on May 6, at 4:00 a.m. Moscow time, the rescue service received a message about a fire in an outbuilding at No. 14 Amurskaya Street. The crews of Fire House No. 4 were sent to the fire. The fire was extinguished at 4:25; it damaged the outbuilding on a total area of 24 square meters. The cause of the fire is being established, says the statement of the MfE for the Astrakhan Region.

According to Pyotr Rusanov, the press secretary of the head of the Department for the Astrakhan Region of the Russian MIA, opening of a criminal case is considered on the facts of two fires. "We have a video; and now we look forward for the conclusion of the MfE," he said.

Residents of the house have reported that after the first fire every day they are accumulating water and pour it on the ground and walls of the house, because they are afraid of new arsons.
