Maikop hosts solo pickets demanding immediate evacuation of Syrian Circassians

Five residents of Maikop conducted a series of solo pickets in support of demand of emergency evacuation of Syrian Circassians.

The action took place on the last day of 2012 in Lenin Square. Khazrail Khanakhok, Adnan Khuade, Arthur Bagadirov, Rustam Chetyz, Asker Kikov, and Rustam Guchetl stood with banners in different parts of the square at a distance of about 50 meters from each other.

According to Khazrail Khanakhok, a participant of the picket, the protest actions are held in Maikop in solidarity with all those persons who do not accept non-participation of Russia in resolving the situation faced by Circassian counrtymen in Syria. He expressed the hope that his voice and the voices of those persons who came with him on the holiday to the square would be heard by the top leaders of the country, the "Natpress" reports.

He has also stated the need to abolish the quotas allocated to regions for the adoption of immigrants from abroad.
