Buldakov: dwelling problems of many people who suffered from flood in Krymsk are not yet settled

Some people are still staying in places of temporary accommodation for persons who suffered from the flood of July, 6-7, 2012, in Krasnodar region during which 165 residents perished. These people remained homeless as a result of the tragedy and their dwelling problem is not yet settled.    
   
“Practically all the tenants were resettled from “Giant” sports complex and they have to rent dwellings. About 60 persons are still living in the boarding school and their cases are under consideration in court. Some of them hope to receive flats in the last house under construction in “Nadezhda” micro-district, others are still unable to buy flats on the vouchers they received because the prices in Krymsk region have skyrocketed”, head of Krymsk non-governmental movement “Committee of civil control” Sergey Buldakov said.    
   
Nikolay Andrukhovich with his wife and two children lives in a garage attached to a house heated with heaters. Their house in Armianky hamlet got into the zone of flood, however, the family’s demand of compensation was dismissed as well as the demand of starting criminal proceedings on the fact of forgery of the act of inspection of the housing estate.    
   
Andrukhovich has been at law for the right of compensation on major repair of the house for already several months. “Our neighbours on both sides of the street have already received the due money but it emerges that my house was not damaged though it is by no means fit for living since then”, the man said to the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.
