Documentary "Memoirs Without Borders" presented in Tbilisi

A joint documentary made by authors from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey "Memoirs Without Borders" dedicated to problems of the residents of Southern Caucasus, who had suffered from the Armenian Genocide and Karabakh conflict, was presented in Tbilisi.

The film consists of four parts, each lasting for 12 minutes. While crossing the region, the authors recollect the tragic events starting from the massacre in the Ottoman Empire in the early 20th century and up to the war in Nagorno-Karabakh in the 1990s.

As explained by the authors, "in the intersection of the national memory and private lives, the film calls to find the answer to the question: what should we remember about others; and what should others keep in memory about us."

"It's a drip bulb that removes elements of hatred from the blood of the conflicting parties," Van Bayburt, an advisor to the Georgian President, who also attended the presentation of the film, gave his opinion.
